What you will do

• Develop machine learning and computer vision solutions for autonomous driving, including detection, sensor fusion, tracking, fine-grained classification, and human intent understanding.
• Lead problems through the full development lifecycle, from proof of concept and model iteration to onboard deployment.
• Develop training techniques and processes for models that use large-scale data while meeting onboard latency requirements.
• Monitor and troubleshoot model performance during on-road operation.
• Take ownership of novel perception problems and investigate them in depth.

Requirements

• Recent experience applying state-of-the-art deep learning techniques to autonomous driving problems.
• Strong machine learning fundamentals and experience building and expanding model architectures.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and professional experience with both Python and C++.
• Experience with modern object detection models, sensor fusion, or multi-task learning.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying machine learning models in real-time environments.
• Experience optimizing architectures to balance accuracy and computational cost.
• Experience productizing machine learning models and supporting infrastructure for data, large-scale training, and evaluation.
