Remote Magento Developer (PHP)

Location: Remote; applicants from around the world are welcome. Availability required Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time.

Salary: $17–$35 per hour for candidates located in California, New York, Washington, and Colorado; compensation may vary for candidates elsewhere.

What you will do

• Build, customize, maintain, and optimize Magento Community and Adobe Commerce websites.
• Convert Figma and PSD designs into pixel-perfect, responsive Magento and custom PHP sites.
• Develop and customize themes, plugins, modules, and frontend functionality.
• Support data migration and headless or decoupled Magento implementations.
• Resolve cross-browser compatibility issues and write clean, structured, documented code.
• Integrate Magento data with Sage, QuickBooks, WordPress, Salesforce, APIs, and ERP or stock management systems.

Requirements

• Expertise in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Strong Magento development experience and responsive web development skills.
• Ability to work in a LAMP development environment and use Git or SVN.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail and organization.
• Availability for 40 hours per week during Pacific Time business hours.

Nice to have

• Experience with Adobe Commerce Cloud, Magento Commerce, WordPress, or Magento certification.
• Experience with data migration, Magento module and theme development, or headless Magento implementations.
• Knowledge of server management, deployment, Progressive Web Apps, Vue Storefront, GraphQL, microservices, or API-first integrations.
• Knowledge of AI/ML-driven eCommerce features, personalized recommendations, Core Web Vitals, omnichannel commerce, and cloud deployment.
