What you will do

• Build and customize WordPress websites, landing pages, blogs, themes, child themes, and templates using Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, or custom development.
• Install, configure, and maintain plugins including WooCommerce, Yoast SEO, and Contact Form 7.
• Convert Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch designs into responsive, mobile-friendly, cross-browser-compatible WordPress pages.
• Improve website speed and Core Web Vitals through caching, lazy loading, image optimization, CDN integration, and performance tuning.
• Troubleshoot bugs, plugin conflicts, performance issues, downtime, and security risks while managing updates, backups, recovery systems, and security tools.
• Collaborate with marketing, content, design, and leadership teams while maintaining staging environments, version control, and deployment workflows.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience building and maintaining WordPress websites.
• Strong proficiency in WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Elementor, Divi, or WPBakery and a strong understanding of responsive design and front-end user experience.
• Experience optimizing WordPress performance, page speed, Core Web Vitals, and SEO using tools such as Yoast SEO.
• Familiarity with hosting environments including cPanel, WP Engine, SiteGround, or Kinsta.
• Strong troubleshooting, attention to detail, communication, and remote collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• WooCommerce development and e-commerce experience.
• Experience building or extending WordPress plugins with PHP.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD workflows, and staging deployments.
• Experience with marketing agencies, SaaS, or service-based businesses.
• Basic UX/UI and conversion-focused design knowledge.
