TL;DR
Drupal Developer (Drupal/PHP): Building, administering, and maintaining Drupal sites for a large federal agency with an accent on custom themes, modules, content modeling, and site governance. Focus on integrating REST/SOAP APIs, supporting Agile sprint teams, and coordinating frontend and backend development across CI/CD workflows.
Location: Boston, MA or Philadelphia, PA; hybrid work with remote availability
Salary: $109,685.33–$148,858.66 per year

What you will do
- Build, administer, and maintain Drupal sites.
- Develop custom Drupal themes and modules.
- Work with users to understand and translate requirements.
- Support Agile sprint teams and collaborate across development functions.
- Help frontend and backend developers work effectively together.
- Learn and implement new technologies and off-the-shelf software.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3+ years of Drupal experience, including Drupal 8/9, content modeling, and site governance.
- 5+ years of experience with PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, Sass, and USWDS.
- Experience with OEL, RHEL, CentOS, Apache, Google Analytics, REST/SOAP APIs, CI/CD, Drush, and Composer.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and Agile methodology.
- Client-facing communication experience and familiarity with federal government software development policies are advantageous.
