Senior QA Test Engineer (QA Automation)

hirify.global is hiring for a senior software quality engineering role focused on automation and quality control across the software development life cycle.

What you will do

• Create testing, automation, estimation, and project plans for software QA.
• Design and implement test automation frameworks for web applications, APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, and data pipelines.
• Build and maintain automated test suites using Playwright, Selenium, Pytest, and related tools.
• Develop performance, load, security, and compliance testing solutions, including validation of PHI data handling.
• Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and drive continuous improvement in coverage and effectiveness.
• Establish testing standards, review automation code, report coverage metrics, and lead improvements to test infrastructure and tooling.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
• 10+ years of experience in software testing and QA.
• Experience with Scrum or other agile processes, Selenium, C#, Azure, API testing, and performance testing.
• Strong analytical, documentation, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate across departments, and perform in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Experience mentoring junior QA engineers and collaborating with product owners, DevOps, software engineers, testers, and product management.
