Medical Science Liaison (Nephrology)

Location: US Remote; Southeast territory. The role includes field work and requires 50–75% travel, with preference for living within 30 minutes of an airport and within the territory.

Salary: $130,600–$163,200 USD per year.

What you will do

• Provide scientific and clinical presentations on chronic kidney disease genetics, Renasight, and Prospera to general nephrology providers.
• Respond to healthcare customer requests about marketed and developing products.
• Support sales and marketing teams as a medical and scientific resource.
• Develop and manage relationships with transplant and genetics Key Opinion Leaders and other healthcare professionals.
• Review clinical results and provide support to ordering clinicians and their teams.
• Develop educational materials for healthcare providers and patients.

Requirements

• Graduate degree and board certification required.
• Knowledge of clinical sciences, with nephrology expertise preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of molecular biology, immunology, and genetics is helpful.
• Must complete HIPAA/PHI privacy, compliance, and security training within the first 30 days and maintain current training status.
• Must pass a post-offer criminal background check.
