Assistant Marketing Manager

Location: Greater Toronto Area, Canada. The role currently works from a home office with in-person team meetings multiple times a month at a flexible meeting space in the west Greater Toronto Area; a future in-office environment is possible.

Salary: CAD 55,000–65,000 per year plus bonus

What you will do

• Execute product launch deliverables for Canada with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Monitor post-launch performance and implement short- and long-term course corrections.
• Present product innovations to retail partners and support trade shows and other key events.
• Plan and execute omnichannel activities across direct-to-consumer and retail partner channels.
• Coordinate brand activations with external agencies to reach and educate parents.
• Support marketing budget administration, purchase orders, spend tracking, and business planning cycles.

Requirements

• University degree required; a business degree is preferred.
• 0–2 years of work experience; internship experience is preferred as a minimum.
• Experience with consumer goods or consumer brands is preferred.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Proactive, hands-on, analytical, data-driven, detail-oriented, and entrepreneurial.
• Excellent and succinct communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with creative tools such as Adobe Illustrator.
• Ability to execute marketing creative work, including video cutdowns and image editing.
