Strategic Finance Associate (Web3)

What you will do

• Analyze financial results, track performance against budget, and provide recommendations to management.
• Maintain and update the organization’s operating model based on strategic plans.
• Perform ad hoc analyses and investigate financial trends in specific business areas.
• Manage cash flow, expenses, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and working capital.
• Track treasury activities, including fiat and crypto holdings.
• Partner with external accounting advisors and vendors on accurate accounting and reporting.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in finance, client services, investment banking, management consulting, or corporate finance.
• Experience building operational budgets, analyzing performance, and reporting budget variances.
• High proficiency in Google Sheets and/or Excel.
• Understanding of accounting principles, financial operations, and monthly close processes.
• Curiosity about crypto and Web3, with openness to learning new tools and frameworks.
• Ability to work from the New York office in a hybrid format.

Nice to have

• Experience with financial technology tools such as QuickBooks, Ramp, Cryptio, or Deel.
• Professional experience in crypto or Web3.
