Shift Supervisor, Los Angeles, CA (PM Shift)

Location: Los Angeles, California, United States; PM shift with a flexible schedule that may include nights, evenings, and weekends.

Salary: $72,160–$97,420 base pay annually, plus annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Hire, interview, onboard, coach, mentor, and manage the performance of approximately 20 AV operators.
• Lead start-of-shift and end-of-shift operations, including attendance tracking, software burns, data importing, and operator preparation.
• Coordinate with planning and learning teams to ensure operators are trained and ready for new features and capabilities.
• Track operator availability, weekly goals, allocation plans, and plan-versus-actual performance.
• Respond to operator and onsite incidents according to established procedures.
• Lead cross-functional continuous improvement projects and share best practices with supervisors in other locations.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience managing teams with 10 or more direct reports through hiring, performance management, coaching, or mentoring.
• Understanding of US labor, employment, and driving laws.
• Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, communication, and data-review skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take ownership of team performance.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, evenings, and weekends.
• Interest in robots and tools supporting AI and robotics development.

Nice to have

• At least 4 years of experience managing large teams of 15 or more direct reports.
• At least 2 years of experience in the autonomous vehicle or delivery industry.
