Physcial Security Advisor (Cyber Security)

Location: Mobile worker, home-based in England and Wales, with regular travel across Cambridgeshire, Oxfordshire, Suffolk, Norfolk, Gloucestershire, Somerset and South Wales

What you will do

• Conduct physical security assessments, site surveys and design reviews across BT locations.
• Provide clear advice based on physical security standards and recommend proportionate, cost-effective measures.
• Support the delivery of physical security uplift programmes.
• Help develop and improve physical security policies, standards and procedures.
• Work with Physical Security Operations Centre, Physical Identity & Access Management and BT Property teams to reduce security risks.
• Monitor current and emerging physical security technologies and practices.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of physical security principles and risk assessment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across the specified UK regions.
• Ability to turn complex information into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Ability to work collaboratively to deliver outcomes.
