Senior IT Security Principal (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership across security operations, incident response, threat hunting, vulnerability management, security architecture, identity and access governance, and compliance.
• Lead responses to complex cybersecurity incidents and drive enterprise-wide risk reduction initiatives.
• Advise senior stakeholders on security strategy and help mature organisational security capabilities.
• Lead cross-functional security projects and collaborate with technical and business teams.
• Mentor security professionals and strengthen the organisation’s overall security posture.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading security incident response activities.
• Strong expertise in vulnerability management and enterprise threat hunting.
• Experience with security frameworks, compliance programmes, and governance practices.
• Knowledge of identity and access governance, including role-based access control.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide security initiatives and collaborating across technical and business teams.

Nice to have

• GIAC certification such as GSEC or equivalent.
• Membership in recognised security professional organisations.
• Experience supporting acquisitions, integrations, or enterprise reviews.
• Experience with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response, Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, or similar platforms.
