Security Consultant (Service Leavers)

Location: Leeds, United Kingdom; primarily based in Leeds with infrequent travel to other UK offices.

What you will do

• Manage the physical, technical, personnel, and information security posture for the Leeds site.
• Administer physical security measures including guards, keys, locks, CCTV, intrusion detection, access control, asset disposal, and site security routines.
• Process personnel, visitor, and access-control checks, including approvals and sensitive-area access.
• Manage security logs, protective material, asset movements, transport plans, supply-chain checks, and related contracts.
• Liaise with government, civilian, and security authorities on technical information, security processes, and incidents.
• Report and investigate breaches, electronic security issues, asset loss, criminal activity, and other security events.

Requirements

• British citizenship is required to enable handling of “Eyes Only” material.
• Capability to achieve SC security clearance is required; DV clearance is preferred.
• Understanding of government and industry security policies, standards, best-practice guidance, and relevant MoD and FSC processes.
• Working knowledge of GovS 007 and the ability to interpret Security Controller requirements.
• Experience progressing through security roles with increasing responsibility, supported by strong organisational and attention-to-detail skills.
• Good written and verbal English is required.
