Physical Design Engineer (AI Hardware)

What you will do

• Design and analyze 3D integrated ASIC/SoC products including packaging, power, clock, and cooling analysis.
• Perform physical verification at block and full-chip levels using tools like ICV and Calibre.
• Collaborate with architecture and RTL teams to optimize physical design and develop novel 3D integration concepts.
• Optimize designs for power, performance, and area.
• Enhance physical design flows using scripting languages such as Tcl and Python.
• Conduct IR/EM analysis and resolve related issues.

Requirements

• 10+ years of physical design/verification experience.
• Experience with 2.5D/3D/CoWoS integration and physical verification tools like Alegro, ICV, Calibre.
• Strong knowledge of block level and full-chip physical verification methodology.
• Expertise in power/performance/area optimization and IR/EM analysis.
• Proficiency in scripting languages Tcl and Python.
• Experience with 3D physical design, die stacking, and packaging solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience with full chip floor planning and integration.
• Knowledge of Synopsys tool suite.
• Familiarity with block PD, STA, IR, and PDV.
• Knowledge of clock distribution and cooling analysis.
