Senior Technical Procurement Specialist (PCBs / Electronics)

What you will do

• Own PCB procurement from RFQs and quote analysis through purchase orders, order tracking, delivery, and closure.
• Review BOMs, Gerber/ODB++ files, stackups, drawings, and specifications, and translate engineering requirements into supplier-ready packages.
• Manage contract manufacturers, aligning capabilities and capacity while improving cost, quality, lead time, and responsiveness.
• Run competitive RFQs, analyze manufacturing trade-offs, negotiate pricing and terms, and optimize MOQs and lead times.
• Monitor material and technical risks, propose alternatives, and address supplier nonconformances and quality documentation.
• Support NPI, production ramp-up, ECR/ECO changes, supplier qualification, FAI, and the transition from prototypes to volume production.

Requirements

• Technical background in electronics or PCBs, including the ability to read schematics, BOMs, and Gerber/ODB++ files.
• Knowledge of PCB stackups, materials, finishes, layer counts, controlled impedance, tolerances, DFM, and DFT.
• Experience in electronics or PCB procurement and supply chain, preferably with PCB fabs or assembly contract manufacturers.
• Strong commercial, negotiation, analytical, organizational, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Experience with Netsuite ERP/MRP and engineering or tracking tools such as Altium, KiCad, Cadence exports, Excel/Sheets, PLM, and ticketing systems.
• Professional communication in English and German is required.
