What you will do
- Coordinate non-production supply chain management activities for in Germany.
- Manage regional spend across indirect procurement and capital expenditure categories.
- Identify and implement opportunities to reduce spend, consolidate suppliers, and ensure supply continuity.
- Lead cross-functional and international teams in benchmarking, sourcing, and procurement improvement projects.
- Manage RFQs, negotiations, supplier selection, supplier development, and contract performance.
- Advise plants on market trends, risks, opportunities, and category cost drivers.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of professional experience in indirect procurement and capital expenditure sourcing within industrial manufacturing.
- Fluent German and English, written and spoken.
- Degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience leading cross-functional and international project teams in a matrix organization.
- Strong analytical, technical, communication, strategic thinking, and supplier negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel within Europe.
