TL;DR
Material Coordinator SAP (m/w/f) (SAP/materials management): Managing the end-to-end workflow, tracking, and availability of process-critical materials for wafer manufacturing with an accent on inventory accuracy, compliance, and cross-functional coordination. Focus on reconciling SAP material movements, improving forecasting and reporting, and standardizing processes for high-value inventory in a regulated environment.

Location: Primarily onsite in Hamburg, Germany, with in-person interviews.

What you will do

  • Execute and reconcile material movements in SAP.
  • Manage the end-to-end workflow, tracking, and secure availability of high-value, process-critical materials for wafer manufacturing.
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain high data accuracy with minimal variance.
  • Coordinate with operations, engineering, internal cross-functional teams, external partners, and service providers.
  • Improve material tracking, transparency, reporting, and forecasting accuracy.
  • Support audit readiness and drive process standardization and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Apprenticeship in logistics, business, supply chain, or material management.
  • 2–5 years of experience in logistics, materials management, supply chain, or manufacturing.
  • Experience with SAP or a comparable ERP system for inventory or material management.
  • Strong data analysis and forecasting skills using Excel or similar tools.
  • Fluent German, written and spoken, and effective communication in English.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, accountability, and effective stakeholder communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience handling or transporting regulated goods.
  • Understanding of inventory and material management processes.
  • Knowledge of audit and compliance requirements.
  • Problem-solving, continuous improvement, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
