AD Engineer (Active Directory): Operating and securing enterprise-scale Active Directory Domain Services in a hybrid environment integrated with Entra ID, with an accent on Windows Server, identity security, and resilient infrastructure. Focus on managing domain controller lifecycles, troubleshooting synchronization and authentication, and supporting Terraform-based infrastructure as code in a highly regulated banking environment.
Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid work with agreed days at home and at the MAD office.

What you will do
- Operate and maintain on-premises Active Directory Domain Services environments for stability, security, and availability.
- Manage user, group, and access lifecycles, includ role-based group structures and delegation models.
- Support hybrid identity integration between AD DS and Microsoft Entra ID, includ synchronization and authentication troubleshoot.
- Collaborate with cloud, security, and DevOps teams on identity infrastructure solutions.
- Support infrastructure as code practices, includ Terraform, for standardized deployments.
- Improve identity-service automation, documentation, operational processes, and security practices.
Requirements
- 4–5 years of hands-on experience own and operat enterprise-scale on-premises Active Directory Domain Services.
- Production experience manag and support Active Directory environments.
- Strong Windows Server 2016–2022 expertise, includ domain controller lifecycle management and patch strategies.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID in hybrid identity environments.
- Knowledge of privileged access, least privilege, and Active Directory attack-surface reduction.
- Fluent English at a minimum B2 level.
