Lead Middleware Systems Administration

What you will do

• Administer and configure middleware platforms supporting business-critical production systems.
• Manage systems data, day-to-day solutions, security compliance, and assignment queues for clients.
• Work directly with technicians and stakeholders to prioritize tickets and deliver technical solutions.
• Identify potential system issues, troubleshoot applications, and recommend modernization options.
• Configure load balancing, high-availability environments, SSL/TLS certificates, and application monitoring.
• Participate in out-of-hours support and on-call rotations.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in middleware administration.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Experience supporting business-critical production systems.
• Administration of IBM WebSphere Application Server, IBM IHS, JBoss/Red Hat EAP, Apache Tomcat, IBM MQ, Apache HTTP Server, or NGINX.
• Experience with SSL/TLS certificate management, load balancing, high availability, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Availability for out-of-hours support and participation in on-call rotations.

Nice to have

• Automation experience with Ansible and Bash or PowerShell scripting.
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Basic to intermediate experience with Cloudera or Amazon Web Services.
