Autonomous Vehicle Operator (AI/Robotics)

Location: Onsite in Santa Clara, California

Salary: $27/hour, paid bi-weekly, plus weekend differential and benefits.

hirify.global develops Level 4 autonomous driving technology and a universal autonomy platform for robotaxis, logistics fleets, personal vehicles, and other mobility applications.

What you will do

• Operate vehicles in manual and autonomous modes for up to 8 hours per day in varied traffic conditions.
• Use proprietary software to collect real-world data and provide accurate feedback to engineers.
• Troubleshoot operational issues in real time and coordinate with the Mission Operations team.
• Complete vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance, including washing vehicles and checking tire pressure.
• Monitor safety and navigation systems while maintaining situational awareness and following operational procedures.
• Interact with the public and represent the company during selected ridealongs for executives, investors, stakeholders, and engineers.

Requirements

• Current valid California driver's license and at least 3 years of holding a US driver's license.
• Ability to work onsite in Santa Clara, California, five days per week.
• Availability for a 2:00pm–10:30pm PT shift on one of the listed Wednesday–Sunday, Thursday–Monday, or Friday–Tuesday schedules.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and time management skills.
• Ability to operate laptops, tablets, smartphones, and standard field equipment while working independently or in small groups.
