Principal Solutions Engineer (Capital Markets)

Location: Remote within the United States

Base pay range: $185,000–$237,500 per year

What you will do

• Define and execute solution validation from discovery through post-sales implementation.
• Lead technical discovery sessions and design customized solutions for exchanges, clearing houses, prime brokers, and other financial institutions.
• Develop proof-of-concepts and implementation plans that communicate product and service value.
• Collaborate with business development, product, and engineering teams on partner engagements and product feedback.
• Own post-sales technical support and implementation oversight across the customer lifecycle.
• Maintain internal product knowledge resources and represent solutions engineering at industry events.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Product Manager.
• Experience designing and validating technical solutions for large, complex organizations.
• Hands-on experience with API testing, database querying, and technical workflow documentation.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts through clear, compelling communication.
• Familiarity with generative AI models such as ChatGPT and Gemini, including prompt development.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Capital markets or fintech industry experience.
• Experience managing technical teams.
• Familiarity with Slack, Apple macOS, and GSuite.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for customer and partner engagements.
