Salary: $189,000–$230,700 target annual pay range; full annual pay range of $146,600–$273,000, plus performance-based incentives.

What you will do

• Design enterprise-scale solutions for lending and credit card platforms aligned with business objectives.
• Develop cloud-ready architectures that meet performance, security, reliability, and scalability requirements.
• Lead modernization efforts, prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and improvements to distributed systems.
• Define API and enterprise integration strategies, including development and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, infrastructure, delivery, and business stakeholders across the SDLC.
• Provide technical leadership through architectural guidance, code reviews, mentoring, and production stability initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience; an advanced degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of information technology experience with expertise in application design.
• Experience with consumer financial products such as credit cards, mortgages, loans, or deposits.
• Expertise in UX, integrations, and API layers for financial products.
• Experience with public cloud technologies, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS across Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Experience leading multiple teams on enterprise-wide initiatives and delivering solutions throughout the SDLC.

Nice to have

• Experience with .NET, C#, Node, TypeScript or JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular, or Python.
• PowerShell or Bash automation and system administration experience.
• Knowledge of SOLID principles, object-oriented design, SOA patterns, and distributed systems.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps Services, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or TeamCity.
• Experience presenting at industry conferences to technical and non-technical audiences.
