Location: Remote within Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Arizona, Texas, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, California, or Virginia. Candidates in Washington within reasonable driving distance of Tukwila must work from headquarters on Tuesdays and Wednesdays; candidates outside the commute distance work remotely.
Salary: $189,000–$230,700 target annual pay range; full annual range $146,600–$273,000, plus performance-based incentives.

What you will do
- Design and deliver enterprise-scale solutions for lending and credit card platforms.
- Translate business and stakeholder needs into secure, reliable, scalable technical designs.
- Lead modernization and cloud-first initiatives using modern application architectures and services.
- Define API and enterprise integration strategies, including designing, developing, and troubleshooting APIs.
- Analyze production issues, identify root causes, and improve operational stability.
- Provide architectural guidance, code reviews, technical leadership, mentorship, and clear communication to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience; an advanced degree is preferred.
- At least 10 years of information technology experience with strong application design expertise.
- Experience with consumer financial products such as credit cards, mortgages, loans, or deposits.
- Expertise in user experience, integrations, and API layers for consumer financial products.
- Experience with public cloud technologies, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings across Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Experience leading multiple teams and delivering enterprise-wide initiatives throughout the SDLC.
Nice to have
- Experience with .NET, C#, Node, TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Angular, or Python.
- PowerShell or Bash experience for system administration and automation.
- Knowledge of SOLID principles, object-oriented design, SOA patterns, and distributed systems.
- Experience with Azure DevOps Services, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or TeamCity.
- Experience presenting at industry conferences to technical and non-technical audiences.
