Salary: $180,000–$255,000 USD base salary per year

What you will do

• Develop and maintain physical design composition flows using Cadence tools, including Genus, Innovus, and Cerebrus.
• Work closely with physical designers to resolve flow and design issues.
• Collaborate with tool vendors to troubleshoot bugs and improve flow capabilities.
• Help build advanced RDU chips for machine learning and artificial intelligence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degree in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering.
• 5+ years of industry experience in physical design and flow development.
• Strong understanding of RTL-to-GDS flows, including synthesis and place and route.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Tcl, Perl, and Python.
• Good understanding of physical design rules for TSMC advanced technology nodes at 3 nm and below.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Cadence physical design reference flows.
• Fluency with Claude or other AI tools for flow development.
