Senior Software Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Onsite, Sunnyvale, California (5 days a week in the office)

Salary

Salary: $170,000 – $196,000 per year

What you will do

• Build a new orchestration method for Zero Trust Segmentation at the application/pod level in container ecosystems.
• Understand and enhance modern container platforms such as Kubernetes, Istio, OpenShift, AKS, EKS, and GKE.
• Own and design critical features and subsystems, defending designs before peers.
• Deliver scalable, stable, secure, and supportable implementations protecting critical infrastructure.
• Mentor junior engineers, new graduates, and interns to foster growth and productivity.
• Collaborate with field organization and key customers to shape the product.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent; Master’s degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience building distributed and scalable software systems.
• Proficiency in at least one higher-level language such as Go, Python, or Java.
• Familiarity and passion for Kubernetes and related technologies.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, networking concepts, and debugging skills.
• General TCP/IP networking knowledge and Unix/Linux programming environment experience.
