What you will do
- Define system and circuit architectures for high-performance DC-DC converters and PMICs, aligning with reliability and functional safety requirements.
- Lead architecture exploration and topology selection for buck, boost, buck-boost, and multiphase solutions.
- Develop critical mixed-signal building blocks, including error amplifiers, voltage/current references, and gate drivers.
- Collaborate with digital, verification, layout, and test teams to deliver optimized solutions meeting power and area targets.
- Guide transistor-level design, simulation, silicon bring-up, and production ramp activities.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the improvement of design methodologies and automation flows.
Requirements
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in analog or mixed-signal IC design, with at least 5 years in a technical leadership or principal role.
- Strong expertise in DC-DC converter architectures and control techniques (current-mode, voltage-mode, hysteretic, etc.).
- Proven experience designing automotive or industrial PMICs, voltage regulators, or battery management systems.
- Proficiency with industry-standard EDA tools from Cadence, Synopsys, and Siemens EDA.
- Location: Must be based in Chandler, Arizona, USA
