Base salary: $100,000–$300,000 USD per year

What you will do

  • Develop validation and test plans for PCB designs and embedded electronic systems used in robotics.
  • Define and execute functional, electrical, thermal, reliability, battery safety, and wire harness testing.
  • Perform board bring-up, debugging, characterization, repair, and failure analysis in laboratory and operational environments.
  • Design, build, and maintain hardware test fixtures, validation setups, and diagnostic automation.
  • Collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical, Firmware, and Systems Engineers to improve testability, manufacturability, robustness, and serviceability.
  • Analyze and document test data, root causes, corrective actions, validation procedures, and engineering findings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with PCB debugging or embedded electronics through internships, academic projects, or equivalent work.
  • Proficiency with oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, electronic loads, and logic analyzers.
  • Knowledge of power electronics, DC-DC converters, embedded systems, sensor interfaces, communication buses, and lithium battery systems.
  • Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams, interpret datasheets, troubleshoot hardware, and perform root cause analysis.
  • Experience with robotics or autonomous platforms, PCB design tools, Python-based test automation, fixture design, wire harnesses, or environmental testing is relevant to the role.
