Salary: $73,150–$174,000 base compensation

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and execute Python-based validation scripts for embedded hardware.
• Perform board-level and interface-level testing across UART, RS-422/485, SPI, I2C, GPIO, Ethernet, and CAN.
• Translate hardware requirements into test procedures, pass/fail criteria, test plans, and traceability documentation.
• Use oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, DMMs, power supplies, and signal generators to troubleshoot systems.
• Perform root-cause analysis, resolve issues, and improve test automation reliability.
• Maintain execution reports, use Git, participate in code reviews, and share status updates with cross-functional engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in hardware validation, testing, or automation.
• Basic Python scripting experience for hardware testing and validation.
• Hands-on board-level debugging and hardware troubleshooting experience.
• Experience creating test plans, executing tests, analyzing results, and using Git and software development best practices.
• Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, communication, and independent laboratory-work skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of aerospace or safety-critical standards such as DO-178C.
