Product Designer (AI)

Location: Palo Alto, California, United States; on-site five days per week

Salary: $170K–$240K base salary per year

What you will do

• Create and refine product mockups and prototypes using tools such as Figma.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to deliver technically feasible designs aligned with business objectives.
• Advocate for user-centered design throughout product development.
• Conduct customer interviews and time-and-motion studies with design partners to gather feedback and validate prototypes.
• Synthesize research findings into actionable insights and intuitive product experiences.
• Develop product marketing materials that communicate research insights and customer value.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in UX design, preferably in technology or legal technology.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design expertise.
• Experience delivering high-quality products in ambiguous, deadline-driven environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar design and prototyping tools.
• Ability and willingness to work on-site in the Palo Alto office five days per week.

Nice to have

• Passion for AI, legal technology, transformation, or disruptive service models.
• Academic background in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field.
• Experience conducting surveys, focus groups, field studies, usability tests, and one-to-one interviews.
