Executive Director, Asset Strategy Leadership (AI)

Location: Office-based hybrid role in New York City; employees must work in the office at least 50% of the time.

Salary: $297,000–$356,400 annual base salary, plus annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.

What you will do

• Define and drive asset strategy for small molecule clinical programs in oncology and immunology/inflammation.
• Integrate competitive positioning, mechanistic differentiation, biomarker strategy, and patient segmentation into portfolio decisions.
• Translate hirify.global OS and ClinTech data and computational insights into strategic advantages for drug development programs.
• Develop and pressure-test competitive narratives to support leadership decisions, partnerships, and investor communications.
• Partner with clinical development, business development, finance, discovery, platform, and ClinTech leaders on resource allocation and portfolio priorities.

Requirements

• PhD in life sciences or a related scientific discipline.
• 10+ years of biotech or pharmaceutical experience with a record of strategic leadership for clinical-stage assets.
• Deep expertise in small molecule therapeutics development for oncology and immunology/inflammation.
• Experience using computational approaches and data-driven platforms for asset strategy and clinical decision-making.
• Ability to develop strategic and competitive cases incorporating mechanistic, regulatory, market, and competitive considerations.
• Strong financial acumen and executive presence, including experience communicating recommendations to senior leaders and external partners.
