Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Must currently reside in the United States; role is remote with travel expectations within the DMV area.

Salary: $142,638–$190,280 per year.

What you will do

• Design, provision, and operate core cloud infrastructure in AWS GovCloud or Azure Government.
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform for repeatable, auditable provisioning.
• Manage network and connectivity design, including VPC/VNet configuration and security groups.
• Partner with data engineering teams to ensure database services are performant and highly available.
• Support Kubernetes infrastructure, including cluster foundations and node groups.
• Maintain IL5-aligned infrastructure controls, hardening, and continuous compliance tooling.

Requirements

• Must maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
• Must currently reside in the United States.
• 5+ years of cloud infrastructure engineering experience in a government cloud environment.
• Strong experience with AWS GovCloud or Azure Government and secure networking patterns.
• Proficiency in Terraform and configuration management.
• Solid foundation in Kubernetes infrastructure integration.
• Experience working in compliance-driven environments (IL5).
