Platform Engineer II (Cloud Infrastructure)

Location: Remote in the U.S., limited to the 48 contiguous states

Salary: $115,000–$130,000 annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Automate cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code tools and execute changes through code review and CI tools.
• Administer platform systems including Kubernetes, Pulumi Cloud, ArgoCD, CircleCI, and PostgreSQL.
• Design and implement continuous integration, continuous delivery, and DevOps productivity solutions.
• Collaborate with product engineering teams to address observability and configurability gaps and improve code-level manageability.
• Build developer tooling that improves the engineering experience and delivery effectiveness.
• Manage incident-response runbooks, participate in a weekly primary on-call rotation, and perform blameless root-cause analysis.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.; the role is limited to the 48 contiguous states.
• Experience with GCP or other cloud platforms and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Strong scripting skills with Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Familiarity with TypeScript, Go, CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience using AI-powered coding assistants or agents to improve development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with observability platforms such as New Relic or Datadog.
