Cloud Platform Architect (AI)

Salary: $245,000–$325,000 USD base salary per year

What you will do

• Architect, build, and maintain an internal developer platform for cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
• Design and manage Terraform modules across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Build and operate highly available, secure Kubernetes clusters for AI workloads.
• Design networking solutions including VPCs, load balancers, firewalls, and service meshes across multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
• Collaborate with AI and software engineering teams to create golden paths, internal tools, and production workflows.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and tracing practices and participate in the on-call rotation.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure roles.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Go, or Rust.
• Production expertise with Kubernetes, including pods, operators, CRDs, and CNIs.
• Strong Infrastructure as Code skills and experience managing complex multi-cloud environments.
• Strong proficiency with AWS, GCP, or Azure and understanding of compute, storage, networking, and IAM services.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, load balancing, and cloud security best practices.

Nice to have

• Experience bridging cloud and on-premise or data center infrastructure.
• Experience managing infrastructure for data-intensive or ML/AI workloads.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or ArgoCD.
• Experience with Istio, Linkerd, or other service mesh technologies.
• Open-source contributions or a public code portfolio.
