Senior Manager of Cloud Engineering (Cybersecurity)

Salary: $233,000–$280,000 base salary per year

What you will do

• Lead and manage a cloud engineering team developing distributed microservices for a scalable, multi-tenant platform.
• Direct the design, development, deployment, and operation of cloud services across multi-cloud environments.
• Drive performance, security, reliability, observability, automation, and operational excellence.
• Establish coding guidelines, participate in code and design reviews, and ensure high-quality testing.
• Partner with Product Management to align engineering delivery with business goals.
• Manage agile sprints, delivery timelines, and the full software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
• 10+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years managing cloud engineers.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, microservices architecture, and AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and cloud infrastructure such as Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
• Experience with network security, TCP/IP, REST APIs, and Unix/Linux environments.
• Ability to work on-site in Sunnyvale, California, and comply with applicable U.S. export controls.
