Embedded Security Engineer (Robotics)

Base salary: $100,000–$300,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Conduct threat modeling and security assessments for critical assets.
• Maintain threat models as threats and business conditions evolve.
• Identify vulnerabilities in critical software components.
• Design and implement technical risk mitigations, including model encoding and encryption for deep learning models deployed on robotic hardware.
• Develop security-control test cases and support compliance with security standards and requirements.
• Lead penetration tests and red team exercises.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or higher degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in a higher-level programming language such as PHP, Python, C++, or Java.
• Experience with deep learning software, frameworks, and APIs, including PyTorch.
• Experience with enterprise security, threat modeling, security assessments, and penetration testing.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and standards.
• Experience securing the transfer and storage of deep neural network models.
