TL;DR

Tech Lead Offensive Security (Cybersecurity): Building and leading an offensive security capability from the ground up across manufacturing software, robotics, OT, and cloud with an accent on red-team operations and vulnerability research. Focus on developing AI-driven offensive tooling and ensuring the security of autonomous factory systems.

Location: On-site in Los Angeles, CA. Must be a U.S. person under ITAR regulations.

What you will do

• Build and operate the offensive security function, including red-team operations and adversary emulation across cloud, robotics/OT, and physical devices.
• Perform deep reverse engineering and vulnerability research on firmware and embedded controllers.
• Develop AI-driven offensive tools to scale coverage and evaluate the security of internal AI and autonomy systems.
• Drive remediation efforts with engineering and blue teams through purple-team exercises.
• Represent the company's security posture to auditors and DoD stakeholders.

Requirements

• Deep hands-on red-team and penetration-testing experience at a top-tier engineering organization.
• Strong reverse engineering skills using Ghidra, IDA Pro, or Binary Ninja.
• Proficiency in building offensive tools using Python, Go, or C/C++.
• Ability to operate fully autonomously, setting strategy and owning outcomes.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual as defined by ITAR.

Nice to have

• Experience with hardware, embedded, or OT/ICS security (JTAG, UART, industrial protocols).
• External recognition via talks at DEF CON, Black Hat, or Recon, and published CVEs.
• Experience attacking or securing AI and agentic systems.
• Background in aerospace, defense, robotics, or manufacturing.
