What you will do

  • Design and improve security architecture for autonomous robotic systems.
  • Conduct threat modeling and security reviews across platforms and operational workflows.
  • Secure robot identity, authentication, communications, and over-the-air software updates.
  • Harden embedded Linux systems and compute environments against physical and remote attacks.
  • Perform penetration testing and adversarial analysis on deployed robotic systems.
  • Partner with robotics and infrastructure teams to integrate security controls into development workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in product, systems, or embedded security engineering.
  • Strong software and systems engineering fundamentals.
  • Experience securing embedded systems, IoT devices, or autonomous platforms.
  • Proficiency with Linux systems, networking, and secure systems design.
  • Ability to balance security requirements with operational constraints and reliability.

Nice to have

  • Experience with robotics middleware such as ROS or DDS.
  • Background in cyber-physical systems like drones, industrial automation, or aerospace.
  • Experience with vulnerability research and offensive security.
