Business Operations Manager

What you will do

• Own and execute cross-functional projects with high ambiguity and significant business impact.
• Drive data, compute, and infrastructure partnerships from sourcing through negotiation and management.
• Support deployment efforts including contract structuring, pricing, and operational setup.
• Assist with internal scaling initiatives such as office expansion and international operations.
• Support investor, board, and external communications including preparation of decks and analyses.
• Translate founder and leadership priorities into measurable outcomes.

Requirements

• Location: Must be able to work on-site in San Francisco
• Strong analytical and strategic instincts with a bias toward action.
• Comfort operating independently in ambiguous environments.
• Commercial mindset and basic financial fluency including contracts and pricing.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong prioritization instincts and ability to push back on low-leverage work.
• Respect for research and engineering culture, curiosity, and intellectual humility.

Nice to have

• Background in consulting, venture capital, private equity, or finance.
• Experience negotiating vendor, data, or infrastructure agreements.
• Exposure to startups that have scaled quickly or inflected suddenly.
• International operations or cross-border project experience.
