L10 System Validation Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Author and own the L10 system debug guide for factory failure analysis.
• Lead end-to-end escalation, debug, and resolution of hardware failures across internal and field teams.
• Manage bring-up and integration across accelerator cards, interconnects, power, and thermal domains.
• Build ad-hoc instrumentation and automation scripts to extract signals from unstable, pre-spec systems.
• Partner with contract manufacturers to validate systems and gate production ramp.
• Represent validation readiness to leadership using data-backed assessments.

Requirements

• 10+ years in system validation or platform bring-up with solo ownership of full L10 integration.
• Hands-on experience with signal and power integrity debug (SerDes, PCIe Gen5/6, Ethernet, HBM).
• Strong proficiency in Linux, Python, and Bash scripting for automation and data extraction.
• Experience validating AI accelerators or high-performance compute platforms.
• Ability to travel overseas to contract manufacturers.
• Must be able to work on-site in San Jose.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with BMC/IPMI, UEFI/BIOS, and CPLD firmware debug.
• Background validating multi-rack or tray-level systems at hyperscaler scale.
• Prior work with ODM/CM partners like Pegatron, Foxconn, or Wistron.
