Senior DevOps Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote - US; semi-frequent local and national travel to professional office settings and other events is required, with some overnight travel.

Salary: $170,000–$185,000 USD base salary per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Own and evolve the infrastructure powering the AI platform across CI/CD pipelines and runtime environments.
• Enhance production monitoring, observability, and distributed tracing in containerized environments.
• Improve Pulumi infrastructure-as-code deployments to support customer growth and scaling.
• Develop internal tooling that improves engineering efficiency, reliability, and system performance.
• Strengthen the reliability, performance, and scalability of the SOC analyst product that automates security-alert investigations.
• Support future multi-cloud expansion across GCP and Azure and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps, infrastructure, or site reliability engineer.
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana, plus distributed tracing.
• Strong containerization experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Production-level Python software development skills.
• Understanding of distributed systems, troubleshooting, bottleneck identification, and performance optimization.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, preferably Pulumi, fully automated CI/CD deployments, system administration, infrastructure management, and modern security practices.

• Interest in writing new product features.
• A strong preference between Emacs and Vim.
