Senior DevOps Engineer (Robotics)

Base salary: $100,000–$300,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Own and scale Bazel/Skylark build infrastructure, including custom rules, toolchains, and remote caching for a multi-language codebase.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated software- and hardware-in-the-loop testing using Jenkins or an equivalent platform.
• Develop cross-compilation toolchains and system library packages for ARM/aarch64 embedded Linux platforms.
• Manage AWS, GCP, and Azure cloud infrastructure alongside on-premise systems supporting model training, simulation, and deployment.
• Maintain Terraform and Ansible infrastructure-as-code and improve developer environment tooling.
• Collaborate with ML, robotics software, and hardware engineers to resolve infrastructure bottlenecks and define tooling roadmaps.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or build/release engineering.
• Hands-on experience owning a Bazel/Skylark build system from scratch, including custom rules, platforms, and toolchain configuration.
• Experience packaging system libraries for cross-compilation to ARM/aarch64 embedded Linux platforms.
• Experience building automated SIL/HIL testing pipelines for robotics or embedded systems.
• Strong Python and Bash scripting skills, with solid knowledge of Linux internals, Docker, and cross-compilation.
• BS, MS, or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
