TL;DR

Design Verification Engineer (ML Hardware) (ASIC/SoC Verification): Building and verifying a photonics-based memory-to-compute fabric for ML hardware with an accent on ASIC/SoC verification and industry-standard DV tooling. Focus on verifying silicon from microarchitecture through design and tapeout, including XPU and ML accelerator architectures.

Location: Bay Area, hybrid

Salary: $180,000–$250,000 annually, plus sign-on bonuses and equity.

What you will do

Verify silicon designs across the full development lifecycle.
Work on verification from microarchitecture through design and tapeout.
Contribute to a rapidly scaling design verification team.
Apply verification methods to photonics-based memory and compute hardware.

Requirements

Commercial experience with ASIC or SoC verification.
Expertise with industry-standard design verification tools and frameworks.
Experience with XPU or ML accelerator architectures is preferred.
Ability to work in a hybrid setup in the Bay Area.
