Senior Platform Engineer (AI Systems)

Location: Remote; US-based and non-US-based positions are available.

Salary: $206,000–$232,000 per year for US-based positions; non-US compensation is location dependent.

What you will do

• Build and operate the internal AI platform connecting agentic tools to core platforms, including internal MCP servers on GKE, Helm, and ArgoCD.
• Deploy and configure IDE agents and create orchestration layers and secure runtime environments for LLM tool use.
• Build enterprise knowledge bases and connectors that allow agents to reason across disparate data sources.
• Implement tiered autonomy, verifiable state, revert mechanisms, authentication, authorization, and human-in-the-loop safeguards.
• Deliver security and infrastructure changes through Terraform, IaC, and GitOps pipelines.
• Embed with engineering teams to identify units of toil, improve workflows, and support adoption of AI-native tools.

Requirements

• Production experience building, deploying, and operating Kubernetes systems, ideally GKE, with Helm and ArgoCD.
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure as code with Terraform or an equivalent tool on GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience with enterprise secrets management, least-privilege access, Shift-Left security, and Zero Trust principles.
• Hands-on experience with AI enablement patterns including MCP, RAG, function calling, evaluations, and agentic systems.
• Polyglot systems engineering experience across frontend, backend distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure; C#/.NET, Python, and TypeScript are used in the environment.
• Ability to communicate complex AI concepts clearly and collaborate with engineering teams.
