Minor Works Delivery Team Lead (Networking): Leading delivery managers and network engineers responsible for Heathrow’s network infrastructure work packages with an accent on resource planning, governance, reporting, and stakeholder management. Focus on managing team performance, resolving delivery and customer escalations, and maintaining consistent delivery standards in an airport environment.
Location: Heathrow Airport, London, United Kingdom. Hybrid arrangement with work from home available up to 2 days per week depending on team and customer needs.
Fixed-term contract for 2 years, subject to renewal.

What you will do
- Lead and manage delivery managers and network engineering resources supporting Heathrow’s network infrastructure work packages.
- Review team structure, capacity, skills, and resource demand to support effective delivery.
- Champion delivery management standards, processes, governance, documentation, KPI tracking, and reporting.
- Set objectives, conduct one-to-one meetings and performance reviews, and provide coaching and development support.
- Build relationships with Heathrow, customers, stakeholders, and delivery partners.
- Act as an escalation point for delivery, customer, and team issues and drive timely resolution.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience as a Team Lead or Line Manager managing at least 10 delivery managers and IT engineers.
- Experience leading delivery managers and engineering resources, assessing skills, and implementing development plans.
- Experience reviewing resource capacity and demand, managing team budgets, and overseeing delivered work.
- Strong governance, people management, motivational, stakeholder engagement, and customer relationship skills.
- Ability to work at Heathrow Airport, London, United Kingdom.
Nice to have
- Experience managing small to medium-sized networking projects.
- Exposure to Cisco networking products.
- Experience in the aviation industry or at Heathrow Airport.
