Associate Project Manager (Network Infrastructure)

Location: London, United Kingdom; work location is Heathrow. Hybrid arrangement with work from home up to 2 days per week depending on team and customer needs.

Flex-Location allows up to 30 days per year working from any location in the world.

What you will do

• Lead and manage project managers and network engineering teams delivering Heathrow network infrastructure projects.
• Review team structures, resource capacity, demand, and skills requirements to support delivery needs.
• Act as the first escalation point for project team members and drive issues through to resolution.
• Promote project management standards, governance, reporting, documentation, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement.
• Build relationships with Heathrow, customers, stakeholders, and delivery partners while managing escalations and expectations.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a Team Lead or Line Manager.
• Experience managing at least 10 project managers and IT engineers.
• Experience conducting skills reviews, creating development plans, and evaluating resource capacity and demand.
• Experience managing team and project budgets.
• Strong governance, people management, motivation, stakeholder engagement, and customer relationship skills.
• Experience working in complex operational environments such as airports.

Nice to have

• Experience in the aviation industry or at Heathrow Airport.
• Experience managing small to medium-sized networking projects.
• Exposure to Cisco networking products.
