Bridge Principal Design Engineer (Civil Engineering)

Location: Rancho Cordova, California, United States; work is performed between office and field environments.

Salary: $180,000–$220,000 per year

What you will do

• Provide technical support for a variety of bridge projects.
• Lead project delivery while meeting quality, budget, and schedule requirements.
• Lead transportation and bridge teams through conceptual planning, preliminary design, final design, analysis, and construction.
• Provide technical guidance for infrastructure due diligence, investigation, remediation, improvement, and construction.
• Develop creative and innovative engineering solutions based on client, project, and site constraints.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• At least 15 years of transportation engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Proficiency with MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
• Ability to work in office and field environments in Rancho Cordova, California.
• Ability to perform occasional physical activities, operate a company vehicle, and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 35 pounds.
