Salary: $89,649–$152,404 annually based on full-time employment; final pay depends on experience, skills, certifications, geography, education, and contract provisions.

What you will do

  • Provide technical assistance and programmatic expertise to public housing authorities, HUD Community Planning and Development grantees, and subrecipients.
  • Educate stakeholders on Section 3, Davis-Bacon, and other Federal labor requirements applicable to HUD programs.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions, conference presentations, workshops, and webinars.
  • Facilitate technical assistance engagements in person and through web-based software.
  • Identify best practices and innovative strategies for HUD, community development, and workforce development programs.
  • Contribute to tools, reports, program assessments, evaluations, and policy guidance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Public Administration, Planning, Public Policy, Government, or a related discipline, or at least 10 years of relevant professional experience.
  • At least 10 years of knowledge and experience with HUD programs, including Section 3 and Davis-Bacon requirements.
  • Demonstrated success delivering trainings, workshops, and webinars, as well as facilitating, assessing programs, evaluating results, and speaking to varied audiences.
  • Must be based in the United States; this is a home-based remote position with up to 25% travel.
  • Strong verbal, interpersonal, written communication, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.

Nice to have

  • Experience with the Department of Labor, Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, YouthBuild, workforce investment boards, or job training programs.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity laws and requirements.
