Senior Azure Application Operations Engineer (Azure)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid work model. Candidates must already have the legal right to work in Europe.

What you will do

• Integrate and onboard applications into Azure, including deployment and configuration.
• Provide Level 2/3 application support, manage incidents, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Monitor application health and performance using Dynatrace, SolarWinds, and Splunk.
• Manage releases, patches, maintenance, SLA/SLO monitoring, and operational KPIs.
• Improve application scalability, resilience, performance, and operational procedures.
• Contribute to CI/CD, scripting, Infrastructure as Code, post-mortems, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in cloud operations, particularly with Azure applications.
• Hands-on experience with Azure App Services, Functions, SQL, Storage, and Key Vault.
• Knowledge of Dynatrace, SolarWinds, Splunk, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates and DevOps/GitOps deployment pipelines.
• Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python, with strong troubleshooting and log analysis abilities.
• Existing legal right to work in Europe and good command of English are required.

• Knowledge of French.
