Senior DevOps Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote from Spain, Portugal, Serbia, Poland, Turkey, Cyprus, Georgia, or Armenia. Relocation is not provided.

Salary: €6,000–€6,800 gross per month.

What you will do

• Own an end-to-end platform area covering observability or CI/CD, including architecture, reliability, roadmap, and operations.
• Lead technical initiatives from requirements and design through implementation, production rollout, and ongoing operational ownership.
• Support application deployment and troubleshooting on on-premise servers and Kubernetes with Helm.
• Automate provisioning, maintenance, monitoring, and other repetitive operational work.
• Investigate production incidents, lead post-mortems, participate in on-call rotations, and implement systemic fixes.
• Mentor less experienced engineers through design discussions, reviews, and pairing.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, SRE, or in closely related responsibilities.
• Strong Linux skills, hands-on CI/CD experience, and practical knowledge of Docker, Ansible, and Git.
• Working knowledge of the Prometheus stack, including metric types, exporters, and alerting.
• Experience with Bash or Python automation, production incidents, on-call operations, and post-mortems.
• Solid hands-on experience in at least two areas: VictoriaMetrics/Prometheus at scale, log pipelines, Jenkins scripted pipelines, artifact management, Kubernetes operations, or Grafana.
• Experience owning technical initiatives end-to-end and mentoring less experienced engineers.

Nice to have

• Experience with JupyterHub, Airflow, Tableau, MLflow, Airbyte, remote development environments, or AI agent execution environments.
• Bare-metal Kubernetes, Flux, GitOps, Terraform, or self-hosted Sentry experience.
• Experience with ClickHouse or MongoDB.
