Lead Data Migration Engineer

Location: Westlake, Texas or Merrimack, New Hampshire; day-one onsite hybrid attendance required

Salary: $103,330–$128,656 gross annual base salary

What you will do

• Define and own data migration strategies and roadmaps across enterprise programs.
• Lead architecture decisions for data extraction, transformation, and loading using ETL/ELT approaches.
• Oversee the full migration lifecycle from planning and execution through validation and cutover.
• Design scalable solutions for high-volume and complex data ecosystems.
• Establish data standards, governance practices, and technical direction.
• Align Product, Engineering, Data, and Business stakeholders while mentoring senior engineers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering or data migration roles.
• Expertise in data architecture, distributed systems, and database design.
• Experience delivering large-scale cloud or platform-modernization migrations.
• Strong knowledge of ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory and Informatica.
• Deep understanding of data quality, governance, compliance, resiliency, and stability design principles, including SRE.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
