Validation Engineer (Automotive)

Location: Nijmegen, Netherlands

An international Research & Development organization developing automotive technologies including infotainment, digital radio, radar, amplifier systems, and Car2X solutions.

What you will do

• Develop and execute test cases validating IC- and system-level requirements.
• Develop and optimize validation setups at IC and application level.
• Convert manual laboratory tests into reliable, repeatable, and efficient automated test environments.
• Support system-test execution and analyze test results and technical issues.
• Report validation progress and results, document use cases, and record test data in project documentation and databases.
• Collaborate with hardware and firmware developers, system architects, marketing, and other validation teams while improving test methods and tooling.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in the automotive and/or semiconductor industry, preferably with system-level validation.
• Experience with software development and a good understanding of software engineering and systems development lifecycles.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C, C++, LabVIEW, and/or TestStand.
• Good command of English, both verbally and in writing.
