What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain test plans and test cases for embedded software.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing of low-level drivers and middleware.
• Execute tests on real hardware and simulated environments.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes, and collaborate with developers to debug defects.
• Improve test coverage, automation, and infrastructure.
• Validate software behavior across various MCU variants and board configurations.

Requirements

• Must have a valid visa and work permit for the Czech Republic.
• Practical experience with embedded systems testing or C development.
• Understanding of microcontroller architecture and HW analog/digital circuitry.
• Experience with hardware-dependent testing (GPIO, timers, DMA, peripherals).
• Proficiency in automated testing frameworks or scripting (Python).
• Working knowledge of GIT and standard software development workflows.
• English proficiency required for daily communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with NXP MCUXpresso SDK, BSPs, or low-level drivers.
• Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Familiarity with automotive or industrial quality standards like ASPICE or ISO 26262.
