What you will do

• Perform validation and verification of NFC components at the system level.
• Implement and execute software test plans, automated scripts, and programs according to product specifications.
• Use lab equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, and RF sniffers for debugging.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers and firmware developers to ensure seamless system integration.
• Analyze test results, document findings, and resolve software defects in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Recent Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in San Diego, CA.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Java, or Python.
• Experience with lab equipment such as spectrum analyzers and logic analyzers.
• Knowledge of embedded development tools and version control systems like Git.
• Basic understanding of wireless communications (NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee).

Nice to have

• Experience with Smart card Operating Systems or Java Card OS.
• Knowledge of cryptography and secure coding practices.
• Exposure to Global Platform and EMVco Standards.
